The 15th Annual Run/Walk for Nancy's Kids raises money for the Nancy's Kids Fund,. This special fund, started by the late Dr. Nancy Law, a pediatrician at Connecticut Children's, helps to provide financial support for our local families with medically complex children.
The annual 5K Run/Walk for Nancy's Kids is held in memory of Dr. Nancy Law. Nancy was a pediatrician who worked at Connecticut Children's. She dedicated much of her time to caring for medically complex children. Nancy understood that families with medically complex children carried significant financial burdens. So before her death, she started a special fund to help support these families and others with limited financial resources.
Since Nancy was an avid runner, we hold this 5K in her honor each year. All proceeds and donations go to the fund Nancy started so we can continue to help children and their families.
This year, our event will be held on Saturday, September 28th, at the MDC Reservoir, 1420 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, CT.
Regsitration is now open. Adults: $25, Teens (10-17): $20, Children (0-9): free
Registration on the day of the event opens at 9am, and the walk/run starts at 10am. Participants can register on the day of the event, but the cost will be an additional $5 from the prices listed above.
